There are some old Chinese graves within

the extension applied for, but the remains appear to have been removed from them. In the case of other graves within the boundaries of the lot originally granted, the removal of any remains discovered has been arranged for by the Tung Wah Authorities and the same course could be followed as regards

the extension, if any are found there.

I enclose a private letter from the

Archdeacon which may be of interest in connection with the

subject.
